António is currently Managing Director of Gesvalt Portugal.
António began his professional career at the former DGEMN (Directorate-General for National Buildings and Monuments), where he was part of the multidisciplinary team responsible for surveying and characterising historic urban centres.
In 2008, he started working in the area of valuation consultancy at CPU Consultores, where he progressively took on responsibility in the Mortgage Valuations Department and later joined the Valuations Department for Real Estate Investment Funds, where he was responsible for coordination. In the final phase of his 9-year career, he specialised in consultancy for international investors and feasibility analyses.
In 2016 António was invited by UON Consulting to create and coordinate the international expansion project for Valuation Consultancy for Investment Funds and Pension Funds in the Brazilian market. At that time, the same project was also implemented in Portugal and adapted to Real Estate Investment Funds and Pension Funds.
Since 2012 António has also been a Tax Valuation Expert for the Portuguese Tax Authority.
